Deborah Ventrice, owner of INTERIOR STYLE is a Summa Cum Laude Graduate of the Fashion Institution of Technology in New York City where she received her degree in Interior Design and Historic Preservation. She has almost twenty years experience in residential and commercial design and the conservation of historic structures. In addition she has extensive experience in corporate, medical, and hospitality projects. Some of her major clients include Columbia University, New York Presbyterian Hospital, Glaxo Smith Kline, Liz Claiborne, Avon Products World Headquarters and the New York City Public Library. Ms. Ventrice has recently received two national design awards for both her residential and commercial work. She is a professional member of ASID, the American Society of Interior Designers and a certificate holder of NCIDQ, the National Council of Interior Design Qualifications. She also holds a membership in the National Trust for Historic Preservation. In addition to her background in Design and Architecture she is certified as a Feng Shui Practictioner. Feng Shui is the ancient Chinese Art of Placement and Design which has been used for thousands of years to help create balance and harmony within a space.

Ms. Ventrice has design experience working with many different styles including Traditional, Modern, Transitional, Country, Contemporary, Victorian and Eclectic. Her philosophy is to listen carefully to each client and interpret their personalities by creating a space that will be uniquely their own. She does not have a “signature style” but rather intuitively creates something different for each and every client. “I want to be superfluous in the process”, Ms. Ventrice states. “When I leave a space I want my clients to feel a true sense of ownership.” Keeping that philosophy in mind and her clients best interest at heart produces results that have afforded her many years of success in the world of Interior Design and Architecture!
